What's the news?

We are preparing with our lawyers grounds for application for permission to apply for judicial appeal.

The legal matters are multi-layered: from Ofcom's unilateral movement of babechannels to the teleshopping regime, to their disregard of duties imposed on them under the Comms Act.

So, it is not as simple as a case purely on the right to televise smoking performances: although that is the legal result hoped for.

Any ideas when this issues is likely to be sorted out?

Well its legal so who knows. We want resolution ASAP but these matters can't be rushed.
