Texting - waste of money ?
I'm coming to the conclusion that texting the show is a waste of money I appreciate sometimes things don't always hit the mark but 3 out of my past 5 have not been read on screen now.
Ok its only a text but a text read out by lovely lady could inspire a guy to a follow up call..... in fact I can safely say this morning that this vulnerable single guy would have easily spent 40+ mins on the phone if that simple act had happened....but alas |

RE: Texting - waste of money ?
I'm not too sure how the texts work. In my brief time watchimg bbtv I've only heard them mentioned once by miss Rachel Cole.
Edit: What I mean is, I don't have any idea if the girls are getting them, much less even getting the chance to read some of em. Rachel mentioned a texter once telling him to call her, but other than that I haven't heard or seen any text messages. http://www.BluebirdGirls.com |

RE: Texting - waste of money ?
There is definately a lot less emphasis on texts on BB than other channels, I think some are too text driven to be honest,...but it is a good medium for guys to feel there way in maybe or leave a message with a fav if they can't call...plus it is advertised on screen but the whole thing just loses all creditability if the producers don't tell the girls they are there and then ultimately loses a girl mins on occasions.....its the little things that can turn a watcher into a caller ....

RE: Texting - waste of money ?
Hey guys, a lot of the texts do get read out on screen. But I'll forward your comments on and do my best to ensure that the girls get those texts read out for you on screen
If you've seen it before, you're not watching Bluebird! |

Hey Richmfd, the producers make sure the girls read out as many texts as they can do. They are regularly working text messages into their microphone shout outs. I have inquired about texts being read out before, and been assured that they do all they can to read out as many texts as possible. The message you receive back does states, 'Please keep watching Bluebird TV as you may be lucky enough to get your text read out LIVE on air' Also, keep in mind that texts are no time specific...If the girl is in a phone call she may not read out your text for an hour or so, for example. From the producers - "the majority of texts are sent during the early parts of the show when the girls are busiest on the phone. Whilst we try to get through the majority of them, usually in bulk, it's not always feasible for the girls to read out every message." Hope this helps. We assure you that texting isn't a waste of money and we feel it's a great way to get a simple message to your favorite babe without making a call. If you've seen it before, you're not watching Bluebird! |

RE: Texting - waste of money ?
Totally agree and appreciate the comments about not expecting the texts to be read out straightaway....but sorry the girls I spoke to said they never even received the ones I sent in or any others over their entire shift on those days....my conclusuon is that there are some producers / staff who are just not bothering to pass things on as they think its only a text and it doesn't matter.
I'll give it another secret shopper test this week and let you know lol |

Hmmm, I've sent a reminder around to the producers about the text messages. They do get very busy when the call volumes are high etc but the text should be read out more often than not. Cheers If you've seen it before, you're not watching Bluebird! |

RE: Texting - waste of money ?
I sent a few clean texts in, never had one read out despite the girl saying "I havent had any texts all day " and despite getting the confirmation text back form BBTV
One thing I have noticed, sometimes the girl onscreen will say "put the word 'TV' in front of the text" yet the OSG says to put 'FLIRT' in front of the text. Which one is it? In short, it doesnt work properly and I - and im guessing other customers - have been put off texting in again. As it's one of your sources of income, maybe worth looking into? (I would suggest someone at BBTV doing a test text each shift, make sure they are getting through ok)

RE: Texting - waste of money ?
I spent a very high amount of mins on the phone this weekend (far too much but I am free and single lol)...I sent two text messages neither got read out ...seriously now questioning why I bother if a simple thing like that can't be carried out...it was dead as a dodo to one of the girls I rang as well.....
